What to expect of a Diabetes Management Consultation booking
- A free ten minute consultation to discuss your needs and book your appointment.
- Our first one hour in-person appointment is a meet, greet, collecting information and learning session that includes conversations around diabetes friendly lifestyle, food choices and portions. You receive written and or printed materials on the topics we discussed.
- In the follow up appointment we focus on tailoring a plan that works best for you. If it includes changing your medications I contact your prescriber for input and feedback.
Cost
- Ten minute phone consultation: No cost
- First one hour session: $100.00
- 30 minute follow-up sessions: $50.00
